I cant remember the details but what was the fix for the DG silencer replacement, the one that comes with the DG pipe will make your EARS BLEED Tpreed needs to get rid of this silencer whilst he can still hear.

Didnt Nelly install a different muffler on the same pipe?

Has someone done the FMF mod on this pipe too?

I forget the details please refresh me.

If I might add to this he needs a stock airbox and dual inlets, that other filter set up needs to be trashed.
That little rascal Tpreed!

I am running the blingy stock looking silencer from the bay. I had to alter my DG pipe to get it to fit though.

Check ebay, search for "Honda FL350" and you'll find it. $99 each, I believe.

Yup found it. Anyone know if its basically a blinged out stock pipe or does it actually flow better? I want to replace my loud DG silancer but still want it to breathe.

Yep! that's the one!

I can't account for flow compared to the stock muffler as I never had the stock muffler on it. I can say that I did not notice much of a difference from the DG silencer to this unit. Other than the fact that is is WAY quieter then the DG, the power did not seem to be affected. Now take that for what it's worth as I am only going by the seat of the pants feel between the 2. Honestly I didn't care if it restricted it a bit more as my hearing was much more important then going a few extra MPH.

Thanks! Yea I have only had the DG one on mine as well. Just a bit loud for my taste.

Tpreed, I have a stock OEM silencer that I think has been altered internally, it was mounted on Hares old ody way back in the day and was mounted on a Bills Pipe. Would you be interested in trying it out by chance? It is definitley altered internally as you can tell by the sound alone-but still is way better then that DG stuff.
I might have a older Power pros laying around here as well, full system. If I can locate it I'll send it over to you. I do not need it at the present time.

Also get rid of that air filter set-up! You need a air box complete too? I got them here. Do the mods to make it dual air inlets at your compound.

Yes mud anything you don't need I will take! I have a complete airbox setup as soon as I get the filter brace from randy j. If you have that old powerpros system i would be interested in trying it out for sure.. I'm currently riding with ear plugs

Tpreed, let me know what you come up with for your air box set up. I am going back to mine as well and have been brainstorming on a prefilter setup.

Looks great what filters did you end up using?

Where are all the other 350 prefilter mods guys? Pilot mods are here viewtopic.php?f=1&t=8929&start=0

Other air box thoughts viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6970

I think we need some Ody stickies.....

Air box Modifications.

DG Pipe Silencing.

Vent Balancer (save a starter) Modifications.

Water Cooled Head.

I have done all four modifications and would be glad to contribute info as I'm sure others would also.

Point out the post I can make them stickies I think starting another "350 Odyssey Modification Recommendations" post then adding all the links would be better than 20 more stickies we could just add one sticky. Here is the old outdated one I started many years ago http://www.pilotodyssey.com/350modification.htm

Have one for the Pilots too http://www.pilotodyssey.com/Pilotmod.htm

Need one for the 250's nobody wanted to contribute...

If you do add the 350 Ody sticky, i have what I think may be a good idea on adding a cooling fan to her Ody also. Since adding Turbotexas's old suspension seat there looks to be even less room between the seat and Engine for a fan, so I may modify the right side air scoop so I can bolt a small fan directly to it blowing at the cylinder. Once I can get some time I will start on it and post the results.

I think the whole problem is that the information is there it's just scattered over numerous posts.

I'll try to see what I can find. If not I could make up new post that we could use as sticky's or just start a Rands World Page and I can start fresh from there.
