looks like on of them rice rocket deals where the main filter has the normal outer cone and also has an inner cone cap and that hose just runs up to another filter. Or maybe something like this...

Pics are too small to tell but I bet its some sort of bling homo 'hey look at me' device if I was a interested buyer I would want to see detail pics if its a street bike device I would want to see the inside of the intake tract after the filter to verify no dirt before I gave them my money, would also want the stock Pilot parts he removed.
