Just got back from Pismo, drove out, met with the buyer, made the sale, ran to the bank and deposited the money, went back and rode some dunes. Man, the dunes were thrashed compared to 2 weeks ago! The wife and I were going to tent camp for the night, but the wind really picked up, so we decided to just head home. 4 hours there, 4 hours back, a few hours of playing in the dunes and makin money. Not a bad day. :-)

New owner says he is going to join the forum. I will try to hold him to it! LOL

Should've stayed, if the wind was blowin hard enough you would have had great sand!

Out there the wind first smooths the dunes, then it destroys them. Makes really sharp, abrupt drop offs, tons of witch's eyes, and these strange valleys between the dunes. It was almost too tore up to ride. I had never seen whoops on the beach there until now, either. These long, shallow, rolling whoops formed on the beach, had to drive through them with the truck, it was strange.

I just changed another one of them Al Gore CF light bulbs this morning they don't last any longer than the old incandescent bulbs do once my box is full I am sending all the bad bulbs to Al Gores address show him how his good idea has panned out, ask whats the carbon foot print of making all these junk bulbs, ask where do I dispose of them nobody wants them.

Don't use CF bulbs!!!

When they break they release mercury vapour in to the air & the common thing people do is vacuum up the glass & spread the vapours everywhere then inhale them.

We have these new bulbs here called SMD LED bulbs, they generally cost a little more(depending on quality), but, produce more lumen than any other bulb & cost cents to run plus the life is longer than any CF.

Have a look & do your bank accounts a favour!!
