Do you have a groove worn on your drive clutch faces?

As you know he drive is apart when no spinning. and it looks like the belt is getting worn at the outer edge - so that leads ne to believe the drive clutch faces have a groove worn in them grabbing the outer edge as the clutch spins together and then runs through the groove.

Didn't you have a chirping issue with you clutches?

put a ruler on edge against the drive face and see if you have a worn groove.

Hmmm...I've noticed that mine makes a weird squeal or maybe it could be called a "chirp" not when you gun it, but when it is returning to idle speed.

This is my first Pilot and the first vehicle I've ever owned with a CVT, so I have no idea what to look for when I hear something I think sounds weird. It's a whole new monster to me.

What do you suggest for a driven clutch upgrade ? Best bang for my buck. I'm not all into tuning clutches
