Are these trails of sand or dirt? My Trail Boss is great on fuel economy and has racks fore & aft for water etc. so I won't be need to wear a backpack. I expect this quad to be as dependable as daylight in the morning as it always has. I need to get a spare belt even though it has a good one on it now.
We saw trails that headed up into the hills above and beyond the dunes, also saw one that headed way off into the distance. Due to the blow sand in the area, I would expect them to be a mixture of dirt, rock and sand. These are not trails that you would want to be using sand paddles on.
Your machine is perfect for what we saw, don't know about what we didn't see. This riding are is way out in the middle of nowhere. When you are at the dunes, there are mountains to the north and distant west, sagebrush to the south and east. The trail that intrigued Hoser was off to the east as far as we could see.....bring plenty of gas.
