What more could a guys want. Riding along down the trail strapped the seat with 5 gallons of fuel ready to pour down your back and onto your the nice and toast Engine.

Obviously this FL350R is not for you and that is fine. The gas tank location was chosen due to the fact that if it was mounted below the
Engine (the only other possible place), during a rollover it would definitely spill all over the Engine and hot exhaust. The tank is hard mounted with a sheet metal catch pan under it separating it from the Engine. There is also a lexan panel between the driver and the Engine. This FL has been ridden approximately 40 or so hours with the hard mounted tank like that with no spills or fires. In fact, if you look at a dirtbike, they have vented plastic tanks directly above the hot and toasty
motor ((
Internal Combustion Engine ? )). In a roll or dump, this tank location puts the tank away from the Engine.
Not everyone has the money to buy a spun aluminum tank. The tank has served its purpose well. If someone wants to make me an offer knowing they are going to change the tank than by all means please make an offer. I appreciate constructive criticism but the shock and awe comments get old...
