Hello. Does anybody know if honda made a performance head for thier fl250. I got a guy claiming he has a head from a honda factory racer or some sort. It has v-fins, has small fins on the underside of it, it has a dome top internal, and only one spark plug hole. Any help appreciated thanks.

I have seen them heads before I think they came off the MR250 or CR250 motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) cycle that was design to make more power.

'73 to '74 CR250 head is what it is.

MR250 heads are identical to the FL250 heads

Would it be worth it to get it for the price ($60 w/copper head gasket)? Or should I try to find another or just not worry about it. I just rebuilt the top end but a little more power can't hurt. Thanks.

i am not sure you will be able to notice the difference. You might want to make sure if the head has been shaved - you might want to cc the head - coming off of a racer it might be made for real high compression.

just a thought
