[quote="Lee"]If it where me, I would make the ID 17mm.
OD is not as important, but I would have used 25mm.

But that's just me;-)
I think what afastcar has done is great.

Any body notice the the Factory (A) cylinder the hose was attached to. I started licking my lips when I seen it.

Forgot, yes there was wood when I saw what seems to be a NEW factory A cylinder. Also very nice. I think Mr afastcar should throw these on one of his pilots and test them for a few tanks of gas before this proceeds, but I can not imagine any issues as the are just hoses. Looks like a hell of a good idea to me, and kinda suprised that chucklenuts at aftershot motorspurts isnt trying to horn in on this.

I assumed they already been tested on something, the materials that is, heated up beyond normal operating temps then pressurized higher than normal operating pressures?

Im not sure the set you see in the pictures are the prototypes and now im going to have them adjust the ID to 17mm then start production, so I really don't have a time frame yet.

No worries... Let us know when they are ready because I need to replace my hoses badly and custom red hoses would make the Engine look clean...

Afastcar, Your welcome. Bugeye, you on I was gona do some videoo on the rebuild so why not. NickRNR, I was gona do a black and white and use the mm side of the tape. But wanted to keep it simple. Plus the gloves where on because of the cylinder tear down and my hands are just ugly.

Well guy's I screwed the pooch seems I had to learn the hard way, I just eyeballed the new hoses to the old hoses and thought they would fit (note to self always check) the two long hoses fit fine for some reason the shorter 2 bend hose is to short  and I already signed off on the prototypes and they started production so now I had to have them stop production and start the process all over on that hose............. so I have no idea how long it will take to sort this all out I will keep you all informed.

Thanks to Hoser for installing the first set and finding the problem for me.

Oh yeah its just a minor glitch in the length of that one hose, sorry about the crappy pics I will take better once completely installed and out in the sun.

I was amazed at the quality fit and finish of a aftermarket hose like these, the mid section of that one hose is just 3/4" to 1" short, later today I will cut the hose install it on both ends then measure the exact distance.

Ok here we go I cut the hose and fabricated a splicer in the lathe, 1" longer in the mid section would get it but I would make it 1-1/4" just to make sure dunno if their is losses when they make these.

Whats strange is when you compare the stock hose to this one before I cut it, it looks good, I would have made the same call as Afastcar made, when its installed its too short and cant be cheated I think it might be in the angle of the bends on the ends, its hard to explain.

Their is NO issues with the other two hoses that I can see both fit as expected.

Any questions or need more pics or angles etc let me know.
