Tie Rod is made at the original length measured out to 18 1/4 inches. Diameter of rod is .500, but thread size is the same. The material the rod is made of is chrome moly 4130 grade. I will have probably only 10 of these to sell and I am not making any money on them, only getting my original investment $$. I just don't need all I have and wanted to see if there was any interest here for them. I am testing each end to ensure the factory Pilot tie rod end fits along with the locking nut so there will not be any issues. Feel free to PM me with any questions. I am selling for $ 40 shipped for one tie rod. Shipping to the lower 48 only. I don't want to use paypal due to their surcharge, but if you want to just add the 3%. NOTE: Right now they are not quite ready as I am still checking the threads on all of them and should have them finished up late next week.

Thanks Eric

Since the oem are discontinued why don't you post up a link to these so everyone who is interested can obtain them.

Recycle your OEM tie rods. http://www.pilotodyssey.com/tierod.htm

I bent my first tie rod back in 1996 then hoserized them haven't bent one since.

If the tubing cost 3 bux a foot will cost you about 10 bux for the tubing, have a buddy weld the ends, you can straighten them in a press or find a hole on your trailer or bumper to stick them in then slowly tweak them back straight.

Tested, proven, cheap, efficient repair viewtopic.php?f=1&t=814

When I went to my +2" arms I extended a set of OEM tie rods to work with the longer A arms

I even did a set of FL350 tie rods for MassOdyssey

The tie-rods are made of solid 17-4 stainless steel. They are then heat treated at H-900 (900 degrees) for a Rockwell hardness of approximately C43

speed

Maybe I missed them but I didn't see any for the pilot, longest was 16 1/4. Anyway I had a deal with guy and he didn't have what I ordered and I settled for these tie rods. I had to fix the threads myself as they were not right and thought I'd offer em here to try to help out others. Seems as if there is no need for em so I'll hang onto what I need and try to ebay the rest.
