Does anyone have the exhaust ring that fits the exhaust manifold part number 18351-961-000? The complete manifold is available but all I need is the ring and I am too cheap to buy the entire manifold.

It doesn't appear that the ring is available separately.

Thanks, Rand

I have always had the metal ring so have never tried it but some day I am sure I will, I was going to buy a viton O ring to fit in the groove then use my normal method of sealing up the exhaust with the high temp silicone http://www.pilotodyssey.com/Siliconesealer.htm

OR use the graphite valve packing. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7258

I managed to have a look this arvo while searching for those Pilot brake pads on my pegboard, but no luck.
I'm still sure they are there somewhere,I can feel it in my Bazinstinct!
WHY is it that you ALWAYS see something when you don't want it...THEN it disapears when you do??????

But rest assured RudestMan,I'll keep lookin' for ya...did find some other 350 stuff.Lil bag of O rings, alu seal washer, exhaust fibre gasket etc
Must be left over 350 stuff from long ago.I'll post pics up tomorrow, off to bed soon,we start work earlier Downunder in the solar system than you bludgers! :-) Image

Well RudeMan,here's my update Mate!

Good news is:
Today while scrounging for parts in my BlokeShed for the FL800,I finally came across THAT bag of gaskets.
It was underneath some other crap.
Now I'm not sure if these are for the 350 Ody or Pilot.
All I can remember is that these were left over after an enginemotor rebuild.
You blokes decide...for me it's been too long, plus I'm at buggy info overload now with the Polaris powered FL800!

Bad is that I still can't find that split ring.

PS. If Ted can't sleep at night and gives you the !@#$,smear some Vegemite on his last beer bottle top!...That'll sort him out. :-)

Well Bazmasterson, I appreciate the effort!

By the looks of all the O-rings, it might be a Pilot kit.

Smearing Vegemite on his beer bottle wouldn't do any good, that nut likes to eat that stuff straight out of the jar!
