Hoser's Pilot and Odyssey Current Jetting Specs
This page is for information only don't be a mutt and try to use these
settings, every engine requires different jetting yours may not require
the same as mine does :-)

440jets Pilot (using a 440 snowmobile engine out of a 9500 Blizzard with a 38mm Mikuni Super BN carb)
HI SPEED 125 Spares 120
LO SPEED 67.5 spares 65 62.5

Challenger 39mm PWK 10-04-02 72RAB HQ (Running a Mossbarger 250 Liquid Cooled Engine)
Challenger project is here

Changed the pilot jet from a 55 to a 38, was to lean went to a 45 still slight hesitation
beck to the 55 will have to try a 50 in future. 10-18-03
air screw 2 turns out
140 main jet
EEG needle clip one notch up from center position

Notes: With 55 pilot jet the engine was running real rich from idle to 1/2 throttle
no hesitation and would rev out clean just leaving a dark plug and the blue
trail of smoke when running slow around the yard, went to a 38 and now the
bottom end is clean (no smoke) but it hesitates, swapped to a 45 and the hesitation
is less but is still not right, will try a 48 or 50 next.

My Pilot 39mm PWK UP DATE 6-09-02 Settings when I was running my full modified Pilot engine, porting, coolhead 49cc dome,
39mm PWK, Power Pros REV pipe, long silencer, Power Bloc clutch with 12 washers 3-3/4" spring, modified stock
airbox with dual openings and prefilters.
Jetting was good from 0 to 5000' elevation in the East, South, Mid West riding areas, richer settings were needed for
dry desert locations below 3000' elevation.

Changed the pilot jet from 58 to a 48
air screw 2 turns out
160 main jet
DGH needle clip one notch up from center position
Number on the side of my carb 72RA4 NCQ

Notes: bottom end always has been real fat just trying to clean it up some, 48
made a good improvement, think I will stick with it, I also swapped needles with
the wifes Pilot (get the number of needle and put here) the needle in hers is much
leaner, works great in my machine!

Wifes Pilot 39 mm PWK 2-15-04 Engine is ported, modified stock reed cage, Power pros Torque pipe, cool head 49cc dome
long silencer, Power Bloc clutch 3-3/4 spring 12 washers, modified stock airbox with dual openings and prefilters.
