This page is for information only don't be a mutt and try to use these

the same as mine does :-)

Challenger 39mm PWK 10-04-02 72RAB HQ

Changed the pilot jet from a 55 to a 38, was to lean went to a 45 still slight hesitation
beck to the 55 will have to try a 50 in future. 10-18-03
air screw 2 turns out
140 main jet
EEG needle clip one notch up from center position

Notes: With 55 pilot jet the engine was running real rich from idle to 1/2 throttle
no hesitation and would rev out clean just leaving a dark plug and the blue
trail of smoke when running slow around the yard, went to a 38 and now the
bottom end is clean (no smoke) but it hesitates, swapped to a 45 and the hesitation
is less but is still not right, will try a 48 or 50 next.

My Pilot 39mm PWK UP DATE 6-09-02
Changed the pilot jet from 58 to a 48
air screw 2 turns out
160 main jet
DGH needle clip one notch up from center position
Number on the side of my carb 72RA4 NCQ

Notes: bottom end always has been real fat just trying to clean it up some, 48
made a good improvement, think I will stick with it, I also swapped needles with
the wifes Pilot (get the number of needle and put here) the needle in hers is much
leaner, works great in my machine!
